My work is based around London and the South East, but projects have taken me all over Britain and occasionally further afield.
Although my style is as diverse as the gardens I create, strong structure, simplicity and good planting remain key elements in all my work.
The gardens have appeared in magazines such as Country Life, The English Garden and Garden Life, and my restoration of an Edwardian garden in Surrey was featured on television in Gardener's World.
I have been designing gardens for nearly 20 years and over the last twelve years I have been working in partnership with Tina Nicholson as Herald Nicholson Associates Ltd. Some of the projects you see illustrated here are from our days working together. We have recently separated our businesses but continue to collaborate on some projects.
In October of 2000 I was also one of the start up team behind the Blackheath based garden shop, Hortus. After five very busy years running two businesses I decided to leave the shop and once again concentrate exclusively on garden design, which is and always will be my first (professional) love.
